It was a long week, I have been spending the long week with my family. Spend more time with them but not with my laptop. Finally had some time for myself to get out from the house to get some fresh air.
I went to the mall today and get myself a bracelet when me and my sister past by a booth where they sell lovely jewellery from Shades. I think I passed by this booth a few times but never had a time to stop by to have a look. Get myself a bracelet with RM142. Each pieces of the jewellery was designed by the owner and ONLY ONE piece for each design. Yay, I am the only owner for this bracelet. We spent half an hour to look around their collection, and I was struggling to get a bracelet, ear ring or a necklace because all their designed are so lovely. My sister told me she want all of the jewellery if she able (mean her bank) to have all of them.
I already planned to wear this to work next Monday, first day back to office after a long rest.

I never thought that I will experience this. I felt the pain last Wednesday afternoon, then I told my hubby that I felt some pain at the typical area of appendicitis and I've asked him, could it be 'appendicitis' he said "no la…" then nothing. At first, I thought the pain will go away because it was not really painful, just a minor one… more like muscle cramp or sometimes. So I went back home an continue about the rest of the day like normal… shower little Jo then watched some TV at the night All the while, I could actually still feel the pain, but it did not become serious.
My hubby did some research about appendicitis from the internet. And told me if it is appendicitis you will not be sitting there watching TV. I will feel an extreme pain. But I do not believe him so I went Googled some information about appendicitis too, and I found out that there are 2 type of appendicitis which is "TYPICAL" appendicitis – the patient can feel the pain until he/she cannot walk or lift the right leg (like what mummy and granny told us); the other type is "ATYPICAL" appendicitis – the early stage one, the patient will feel the pain gradually for some period. My thought, I should be getting the second one, atypical appendicitis. So I've decided to go for doctor to do a checkup on the next morning if I can still feel the pain.
When I woke up the pain still there. But, just like any other morning, I freshen up and changed for work, because I was thinking of going back work after the doctor, because somehow I didn't really expect it to be appendicitis. At the clinic doc did a series of examination to rule out appendicitis: ultrasound scanning, blood test and urinalysis. Result, ultrasound shows negative signs, doc also said there was no enlarged appendicitis; urinalysis came out negative; blood test showed the white blood cell count is high means there is inflammation in my body. So the doc did another physical examination by pressing the typical area of appendix (in a different way) and Yeeoouch!!! So he said it is high possibility of appendicitis then he referred me to a surgeon and the surgeon repeated the same physical examinations again. After that, he said I need to do the surgery… <skip very interesting hospital experience… blog to you all later>… I did the surgery in the evening of the same day.
Now, I am at home and resting. The doctor said the wound need at least one to two weeks to heal. So meaning, I need to stay at home and do nothing for one to two weeks!!! Can't even carry little jo… and dunno how to explain to him. Pity the little fella L. That means, more time for me for my Manicure (DIY) hehehe, coz hubby will now be doing everything else at home.

Went to mall with my sister last 2 weeks ago and got myself another new nail polish from Revlon. It was a new collection, got the Chocolate Truffle (Code: 916). Tried it last week, no really like the colour, I prefer darker colour (I am a big fan of dark and vampy polish). But surprisingly the polish went on smoothly with no clumps or anything bad. It flowed onto the nail perfectly. Will check out more colour from Revlon, it is cheaper than some famous brand J
Here is the swatch of Revlon Chocolate Truffle:
The actual colour is actually lighter than the photo.
Went to mall again with Hubby and little Jo last weekend, past by The Face Shop can't help myself to stop by to check out nail polish again so end up with another two nail polishes. Will try it out soon, maybe tonight J

I went to the Loreal Great Deals Sale last Saturday, April 26 at Park Royal Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The sale supposes to start at 10am, but after referring to a few of review on the past Loreal sale, I have made my decision to go early in the morning. My plan is actually to be there by 7:30am but due to my little Jo sleeping schedule (10pm to 7:30am) I have to change my plan, plus I do not want to burden my nice and kind baby sitter, hope she can get more rest during the weekend.
When I reached the hotel at 8:30am with my hubby, there are peoples queuing up already, after asking around most of them reached the hotel 7am! We waited for one and half hours, finally we can into it, but the first batch crowd management was bad, I been pushing around (ladies I did not do the same thing) end up become the last person with a girl behind the queue. Fine, anyway I'm still the first batch to get in there to shop (beside those VIP because they can get in there one hour earlier).
There is a lots of Lancome skin care range this time but it's look like old stock and most of them do not have the manufacturer date sticker, so I end up getting nothing from Lancome skin care.
Shu Uemura was 50% discount, grabbed myself their famous cleansing oil and a concealer, wanted to grab more but too crowded at the Shu Uemura counter, I am not those type of person will pushing around to get something.
As for Biotherm products, mostly around RM50 per item, good bargain.
Here what I got for myself from this sale:
- Ralph Lauren RALPH HOT EDT: RM50
- Lancome E/S Quad: RM65
- Lancome Blush Subtil (Rose Boise & Peach Intense): RM55 each
- Lancome Amplicils Mascara: RM50
- Biotherm White Detox Whitening Eye Essence: RM50
- Biotherm White Detox Whitening Moisturizing Cream: RM60
- Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil 150ml: RM70
- Shu Uemura Mark Concealer: RM40
Hope I have time to review the product, working mum….time never enough.
